Grout lines are where bathrooms age first. Tadelakt removes them entirely: one continuous mineral surface flowing over walls, niches and curved benches.
Polished with a stone and sealed with olive soap, the lime surface becomes naturally water-repellent and slightly glossy, like river-worn marble. It is warm to the touch and naturally antibacterial.
Maintenance is simple: a yearly wipe of soap solution renews the seal. Avoid acid cleaners — lime is a living material and rewards gentle care with decades of service.
